LUNN International Students Took Part in the XXI Gorky Readings “Maxim Gorky: a Look from the XXI Century”
The Conference was organized by the A.M. Gorky Central District Children’s Library as an event within the framework of Maxim Gorgy’s 150th anniversary celebration. The Chinese students from LUNN International Students Department cited an excerpt from M. Gorky’s “Childhood” in the Chinese language. The conference program also included lectures and media demonstrations about the author’s life and work as well as workshops and theatrical performances based on such M. Gorky’s works as “Makar Chudra”, “Gypsy Legend”, “Falcon Song”, “The Legend of Danko”.
