#LUNNProjects: Summer Institute for Young Lecturers and Researchers
The Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod is delighted to announce that in 2026 it is going to host the 4th season of the International Youth Project "Summer Institute for Young Lecturers and Researchers".
The project is aimed at young teachers and researchers (under the age of 35) in the field of social communications, philology, linguistics, ethnopsychology, political science, cultural and scientific diplomacy, regional studies and international relations, social work and youth policy in the intercivilizational field.
The project’s core area is Social Sciences. Its key goal is to gain a comprehensive insight into effective mechanisms and practices of social adaptation, inter-civilizational specialized communication and environmental immersion of young teachers and researchers into the framework of a multicultural socio-humanitarian higher education ecosystem in the context of globalization and digitalization.
The conceptual basis of the initiative is the professional excellence program “Modern Information Society and Strategies for Social Adaptation in a Multicultural Educational Environment” and shaping partnership projects based on the results of training modules enhancing scientific, educational and socio-cultural interaction with partner universities from various world countries.
The advanced training program includes scientific and communication practices in the domain of intercultural educational environment at internship partner sites: Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization of Higher Education “Innopolis University” (Innopolis, The Republic of Tatarstan), Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “National Research Mordovia State University” (Sarask, The Republic of Mordovia); State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Knyagininsky University” (Knyaginino, Nizhny Novgorod Region).
The cultural and educational module “ArtScience-Immersion: Cultural, Innovative, Educational Landscape of Russian Regional Capitals” presupposes delving deeper into ethnocultural traditions and scientific and educational potential of Russian regions (Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Mordovia) within the framework of a professionally oriented trip to the local ethnic-representative destinations: Nizhny Novgorod, Knyaginino, Kazan, Innopolis, Saransk.
In 2025 we housed the project for 25 representatives of 22 educational and scientific organizations from 12 world countries. We are looking forward to expanding our geographic span in 2026 and see you offline in the hospitable environment of the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod!
